MANHATTAN—Authorities evacuated Stuyvesant High School Friday morning after a fire broke out in a third-floor bathroom.

No one was hurt in the fire, which was reported at 11:31 a.m., a FDNY spokesman said.

Firefighters had the fire under control by 11:59 a.m.

More than 3,200 students attend the 12-story school in Battery Park City, considered one of the best public high schools in the city.
