The two were shot in the 13200 block of South King Drive.

The fatal stabbing stemmed from a domestic incident between the two men, police said.

He was fighting with a man who pulled out a gun and shot him, police said.

The incident took place near 47th Street and Prairie Avenue, police said. 

To ease his family's concerns, Joe Locasto walked with a knife, including on the day he was stabbed.

Police believe the mass-shooting was gang related.

Another woman was wounded by "fragments" in the attack, police said.

A shooting in Garfield Park left a 33-year-old man wounded on Wednesday morning, police said.
