Ald. Tim Cullerton (38th) will host a surprise welcome home celebration for U.S. Army Sgt. Daniel Rosales at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at 5726 W. Sunnyside, rain or shine. The celebration will include the Chicago Fire Department Honor Detail, the Schurz High School Band and a military honor guard.

The Patriot Guard Motorcycle Riders and Chicago police will provide an escort from O'Hare Airport to Rosales' home. Rosales, who served in Afghanistan, received the Purple Heart for combat-related injuries.
