Beat the winter blues with "Tiki Tuesday: Tiki Lounge Deluxe," which brings DJs Richard Pierson and Sun-Times columnist (and Tiki culture enthusiast) Dave Hoekstra to Maria's Community Bar for a night of spinning rare tiki records as bartenders create specialty drinks.

Film artist Elaine Layabout will create a special reel that'll get projected on the screen as the tunes play.

The Jan. 29 kickoff will be the first of three Tiki Tuesdays.
