Laurie Duggins

Visual Designer Contact

Laurie is a Visual Designer at DNAinfo New York, and is responsible for creating engaging visual experiences. Her day-to-day work includes designing editorial illustrations, icon sets, and product design for DNAinfo and Neighborhood Square.

She holds a BA in Visual Arts from Duke University, and an MS in Communications Design from Pratt Institute.

Years of painting and drawing, pursuing a Design degree at Pratt, and dabbling in code have lead to Laurie's fascination with the intersection of fine arts, design and technology. She's interested in how emerging digital media and interfaces can create engaging experiences in the digital age.

Fun Fact:

Laurie's not so serious side makes quirky illustrations and animations, doodles daydreams, and unabashedly watches "The Bachelor."
