LITTLE ITALY — A man said he was chased by four men, including one who pulled out a handgun, on a busy street on the Near West Side last week.

At 7 p.m. Oct. 24, the man, 26, told police he was walking back to his car in the 800 block of South Racine Avenue after eating at a restaurant nearby when he was followed by four other men, police said. The men started "saying things to him" and one of them pulled out a gun.

He started running and hid behind some garbage cans. The men searched for him but couldn't find him and left, police said.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police said the men involved were black and between the ages of 25 and 30:

One of them was 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10, 170-190 pounds and wearing a black jacket and red Kansas City Chiefs baseball cap. Another was 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, 170-180 pounds and wearing a puffy black jacket with a hood, a blue baseball cap and gray sweatpants. The third was 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, 160-180 pounds, in a black sweatshirt with a White Sox logo and black White Sox skull cap. The fourth was 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7, 170 to 190 pounds and in a blue hoodie with ripped white jeans and a white baseball cap.

No arrests have been made in the incident.
