DOUGLAS — Bald teenagers have been stealing cars this week in Douglas, according to police.

Police reported three carjackings in Douglas this week where people were forced out of their cars in daylight attacks.

One woman was grabbed by the neck and pulled from her BMW X4 at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East 32nd Street. She described the robbers as looking as young as 16 and wearing hooded sweatshirts and jeans. Both were completely bald, she said.

The woman suffered minor scrapes, but none of the three carjacking victims was seriously injured, police said.

The two other victims reported their attackers could have been as old as 20, but in all cases victims said the carjackers did not use weapons — the criminals just grabbed and pulled the drivers from their cars.

The other carjackings include one at 3 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of East 31st Street where a person was pulled out of their Honda, and one at 5:20 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of South Martin Luther King Drive, where a person’s Chevy Impala was taken.

Police said they didn't know whether any of the cars have been found.
