LAKEVIEW — This Halloween, Replay Lincoln Park is dressing up in costume, too — as Moe's Tavern from "The Simpsons."

The arcade bar at 2833 N. Sheffield Ave. has completely transformed its rear bar into the fictional tavern from the iconic TV show, complete with a Mount Lushmore display, Moe's-themed drinks (including a Flaming Moe), "Simpsons" artwork and countless Easter eggs the biggest fans of the TV show can spend the next week seeking out.

Owner Mark Kwiatkowski said he and his wife Jessica Kwiatkowski were big "Simpsons" fans about 20 years ago, but recently his 12-year-old son has become interested in the show. So when he was trying to come up with something fun to do to the bar for Halloween, he and his family came up with Moe's Tavern.

The Kwiatkowskis took the task of transforming the bar into Moe's very seriously. They spent hours researching the bar to catch little details only super-fans might notice.

"We did research on which episodes featured Moe's, and we'd watch it together, pause it, take pictures — there are so many details in the show," Kwiatkowski said. "If you were just watching the show, it would go by so quickly."

So far the response has been phenomenal.

"It's crazy," Kwiatkowski said. "People are getting all geeked out about it."

The bar hosted a "Simpsons" trivia night on Wednesday with questions Kwiatkowski said were incredibly obscure, and the winners of the night got almost every question right ("How do they know all that?" Kwiatkowski said with a laugh). Moe's will host another "Simpsons" trivia night on Wednesday.

Replay opens at 5 p.m. Mondays-Thursday, 3 p.m. Fridays and noon Saturdays and Sundays.
