The Playoffs Are Back In Wrigleyville As Cubs Host Game 3 Of NLDS

WRIGLEYVILLE — Cubs fans swarmed Wrigley Field and the area surrounding the ballpark Monday afternoon to cheer the North Siders on during their first postseason home game against the Washington Nationals.

Game 3 of the National League Division Series started at 3:08 p.m., with both teams looking to take a command lead in the best-of-five series.

The game was a no-hitter through the fifth inning, but in the end, the Cubs beat out the Nationals 2-1, putting them at 2-1 in the series as well.

Game 4 will be played Tuesday at 4:38 p.m. Game 5, if necessary, will be at 4:38 p.m. Thursday at Nationals Park. All games will air on TBS.

The Cubs and Wrigley Field are 95 percent owned by an entity controlled by a trust established for the benefit of the family of Joe Ricketts, owner and CEO of DNAinfo.com. Joe Ricketts has no direct involvement in the management of the iconic team.
