Sip And Shop Showcases Businesses Near Metra's 99th And 103rd Street Depots

BEVERLY — Several small businesses near the 99th and 103rd Street Metra train stations will be showcased Thursday evening as part of the Sip and Shop Girls Night Out.

The event meant to showcase women-owned businesses and will feature shopping, food and drink tastings from 6-9 p.m. beginning at Calabria Imports at 1905 W. 103rd St. in Beverly. It costs $10 in advance or $15 at the door to participate.

Attendees receive a souvenir wine tote and are invited to browse participating businesses: Belle Up, Beverly Barre, Beverly Yoga Center, B-Sides Coffee + Tea, Cakewalk Chicago/Markland Hubbard, Capsule, Chicago Writers Studio, Heritage Gallery and Gifts, New Beginning Alterations, Pizzeria Deepo, RMH Design, Root, Running Excels, Sweet Freaks and Tranquility Hair Salon.

Following the event, a BYOB afterparty will be held from 9-11 p.m. at Tranquility, 9908 S. Walden Parkway.

The shopping event is being coordinated by the Beverly Area Planning Association, the Southwest Women’s Business Alliance and the Morgan Park Beverly Hills Business Association.
