Benjamin Robles, 30, Shot Dead In Brighton Park

CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man was shot to death while driving in Brighton Park early Sunday, police said.

At 5:10 a.m., the man was stopped at a red light in the 3800 block of South Archer Avenue when a car drove up and someone inside fired multiple shots, police said.

The man was hit in his head, neck and arm and crashed his car, police said.

Benjamin Robles, of the 6000 block of South Kirkpatrick, was pronounced dead at 5:31 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.

The attacker drove away, police said. No one was in custody.
