ARMOUR SQUARE — The White Sox are letting fans design the last free T-shirt giveaway of the year at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The team is looking for original T-shirt concepts for its "fan design contest." The winner will see his or her shirt given away to the first 10,000 fans on Sept. 28, which is the last "free T-shirt Thursday" of the 2017 season.

Fans can submit their best White Sox T-shirt design here. Guidelines for the contest include: the design must be 14-inches-by-14-inches, have no profanity or explicit imagery, make no modifications to any existing Sox logos and use no copyrighted images that the creator does not own.

Designs can go on four different shirt colors: black, white, light gray and dark gray. The team has even shared the official Pantone color values for the shades used in official team gear. Digital designs are preferred, though not required, according to Major League Baseball.

The winner will be selected based on "creativity, White Sox branding and originality," according to the White Sox. In addition to the winning design being featured on the promotional T-shirt, the winner will receive two tickets to that night's game.

Sox fans have come to expect a lot from the team's T-shirt giveaways. Here's a sampling of this year's giveaways, which feature retro-inspired designs.
