Jesus Menviola, 21, Killed In Austin Shooting

CHICAGO — A man was shot dead Tuesday afternoon after an argument in Austin, according to police.

The victim, 21, was riding in a car in the 1800 block of North Luna Avenue when he got into an argument with a pedestrian about 4:40 p.m., Chicago Police said in a statement.

The pedestrian fired multiple shots before running away. The victim was shot in his head.

Jesus Menviola, of the 3500 block of West Belden, was pronounced dead at 4:41 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one was in custody.
