Durbin, Quigley To Talk Russian Hacking Investigation And More At Town Hall

MAYFAIR — U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley and U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky will be among the speakers Monday night at a town hall hosted by Indivisible Chicago IL-5.

Illinois state legislators Ann Williams and Greg Harris are also scheduled to speak at the event.

Topics are expected to include the investigation into alleged Russian interference in the recent U.S. presidential election, as well as immigration and health care.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m. at the Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N. Knox Ave.

RSVP ticket holders will be seated first, with no-show seats released after 6 p.m. When the center's main auditorium reaches capacity, any additional attendees will be seated in an overflow area, where the event will be streamed via video.

For those unable to attend in person, the town hall will also stream live on Facebook.

Durbin, Quigley and Schakowsky will speak 6:15-7:30 p.m.; Williams and Harris will speak 7:30-8:15 p.m.

Indivisible Chicago IL-5, an offshoot of the national Indivisible movement, unites constituents of Illinois' Fifth Congressional District on Chicago's North and Northwest Sides.
