CHICAGO — Three men who were found dead inside a car in Auburn Gresham on Monday morning were shot to death, officials said.

At 7:35 a.m., officers found the men in a car parked illegally in the 8600 block of South Throop Street, police said. The three were not immediately identified.

On Tuesday, the Medical Examiner's Office said the three had all been shot to death in homicides.

Vogels Anderson Jr., 19, was shot in his head; Ryan Hamilton, 20, was shot in his neck; and Devontae Watson, 18, was shot multiple times.

ABC7 reported one body was found in the front seat, one was found in the back seat and a third was found in the trunk of the car, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

A neighbor told the station that she heard no gunshots overnight.

"This is scary," she said.
