RIVER NORTH — If a hot tub hotel bar seems frothy to you, that's because, well, it is.

Bunny Slope, a basement bar decorated like a ski lodge, is now open in the lower level of the Acme Hotel, 15 E. Ohio St.

A product of the Fifty/50 Restaurant Group, Bunny Slope is an admittedly "kitschy cocktail lounge" with wood-paneled walls, a fireplace, a bar and the aforementioned hot tub.

"Hot tub bar" is a slew of words that piques curiosity and raises questions at the same time. So how does it work?

First: it's a private bar that only fits 18 people, so you won't be sharing the tub with strangers unless you invite them.

Reservations for the entire room cost $150 per every two hours, and guests are asked to book their visit two days in advance. There's a minimum tab for drinks, too: $75 per hour Sundays-Wednesdays, and $125 Thursdays-Saturdays.

As such, Bunny Slope is recommended for private parties.

The room comes with bathrobes, towels, a standing shower and other amenities.
