ENGLEWOOD — The Resident Association of Greater Englewood is hosting an African pop-up shop fundraiser this week.

Hand-crafted artifacts, accessories, clothing and more will be sold from noon-5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Hamilton Park Cultural Center, 513 W. 72nd St.

The art was donated to the association, and the Hamilton Park Advisory Council raised roughly $3,000 selling some of it during a pop-up shop in October. There were hundreds of pieces left, along with other items, leading the association to decide to host its own pop-up shop.

The fundraiser, in collaboration with the Network 11 Art Expo, will support the group's efforts to promote peace and unity in the Greater Englewood community.
