UPTOWN — A new Korean restaurant is coming to Uptown.
Miller Chicago Real Estate recently closed a deal to lease the former Inspiration Kitchens space at 4715 N. Sheridan Road to the former owner of Sol's On The Square — a Korean restaurant in Wisconsin — said Nicole Stratton, a broker for Miller Chicago.
The Inspiration Corporation closed its social enterprise restaurant in Uptown in July. The restaurant helped people exit homelessness or poverty through job training in the culinary industry.
The new owner, who could not immediately be reached for comment, sold Sol's On The Square in September to start the new venture, Stratton said.
The restaurant, which has yet to be named, is slated to open in May, she said.
