CHICAGO — Mi'Angelo Angel Martae Roberts was shot to death while sitting in a parked car in East Garfield Park on Saturday, officials said.

At 11:15 p.m., the man was parked in the first block of North Sacramento Boulevard when someone in another car shot him in his left thigh, according to police.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

Roberts, of the 4300 block of West Potomac, was later pronounced dead, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one was in custody, police said.
