CHICAGO — Dante Swanson, 36, was shot dead in Bronzeville on Thursday night, officials said.
At 11:13 p.m., the man was sitting in the driver's seat of a parked car in the 800 block of East 46th Street when a man walked up and fired shots, police said.
The victim was hit multiple times throughout his body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Swanson, of the 7900 block of South Carpenter, was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
