Tiny Superheroes Keep Halloween Safe At Pilsen School [PHOTOS]

PILSEN — Taking the day off from saving Gotham City and Metropolis, tiny superheroes descended on Pilsen to fight crime Monday. 

Superman, Spiderman and other superheroes were top costume picks at Orozco Community Academy in Pilsen this Halloween. At the fine arts and performing arts neighborhood school, elementary school students were allowed to ditch their school uniforms for a costume celebration Monday. 

And while the crimefighters ruled the school, there were plenty of Halloween classics in classrooms, too — including princesses and pirates. 

Last year, fiesty Queen Elsa from Disney's "Frozen" was a top costume pick for elementary girls.
