Garfield Park Shooting Wounds Man, 40, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Garfield Park left a 40-year-old man wounded on Saturday afternoon, police said.

At 3:39 p.m., the man was standing outside in the 700 block of South Kenneth Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was hit in his right arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, Quaid said.

No one was in custody.
