CHICAGO — A 25-year-old woman was shot in Englewood Thursday afternoon, according to police.

The woman was driving with another woman in the 6700 block of South Racine Avenue at 2:40 p.m. when a Ford Taurus pulled up and someone inside opened fire, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

She was struck in the back of her heard and was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, Tannehill said.

A passenger in the car, a 32-year-old woman, was injured when a "fragment" hit her in the nose, Tannehill said. She was also taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, Tannehill said.

No arrests have been made, police said.
