CHICAGO — Two separate shootings left a man dead and four others wounded in Englewood Monday, police said.

The fatal shooting, which also wounded another man, occurred at 3:30 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Sangamon Street.

At 6:15 p.m., three teenagers were standing in an alley in the 2000 block of West 70th Place when someone walked up and shot at them before driving away in an SUV, according to Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

All three teens were brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said.

A 17-year-old was shot in his left arm and left leg, and an 18-year-old man was shot in his left arm and chest, Quaid said. Police could not provide their conditions but said they were "stable."

The third teen, 18, was listed in good condition after being shot in his left hand, Quaid said.

No one was in custody for the shooting, Quaid said.
