LAKEVIEW — A 25-year-old man was found dead after an apparent fall outside his Lakeview home over the weekend, police said.
Officers found the man outside his home in the 700 block of West Briar Place at 2 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman. He had suffered a head injury after an apparent fall, he said.
The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition, Quaid said. He was pronounced dead at 3:41 p.m. Saturday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Windows to the man's home were closed and nothing was "eskew" in his place, a police source said. The department is investigating the death.
