CHICAGO — Two men were killed and 11 people were wounded on the city's South and West Side between Monday morning and Tuesday morning, police said.

A 26-year-old man was killed and another man was wounded after they were shot during an argument in Riverdale late Monday morning.

A 29-year-old man was shot to death while stopped at a red light on the Near West Side early Tuesday morning.

• In the most recent non-fatal shooting, at 2:27 a.m., a 40-year-old man was at a "family party" in the 1300 block of North Waller Avenue in Austin when he got into an argument with someone, police said.

The other person pulled out a revolver and fired it twice, with one shot grazing the man in his head, police said.

The man refused medical attention on scene, police said.

• At 2:24 a.m., a 23-year-old woman was sitting in a car in the 5300 block of South Laflin Street in Back of the Yards when someone rode up on a bicycle and shot at her, according to a police incident report.

The woman drove to Providence Hospital after being shot in her arm and leg, police said. Police could not provide her condition but said she was "stable."

Police said the woman is a documented gang member.

• At 11:32 p.m. Monday night, a 25-year-old man was driving in the 3100 block of West Pershing Road in Brighton Park when someone pulled up alongside him in a gray minivan and shot at him, police said.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was considered "stable" with gunshot wounds in his back, neck and head, police said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• At 10:33 p.m., a 37-year-old man was sitting on a porch in the 5400 block of South Damen Avenue in Back of the Yards when he heard gunshots and felt pain, police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was considered "stable" with gunshot wounds in his back and left armpit, police said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• At 5:40 p.m., a 19-year-old man was sitting in front of a building in the 2100 block of West 68th Place in Chicago Lawn when someone shot at him from a passing silver sedan, according to Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was brought to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound in his left leg, Quaid said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• At 4:33 p.m., a 23-year-old man was walking in the 10200 block of South LaSalle Street in Roseland when a man walked up from behind and shot at him before running away, Quaid said.

The man brought himself to Roseland Hospital after being shot in his abdomen and left arm, police said. He was transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was considered "stable."

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• At 4:23 p.m., a 29-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 400 block of East 63rd Street near the Parkway Gardens complex in Woodlawn when he heard gunshots and felt pain in his left big toe, Quaid said.

He was brought to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Quad said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• At 9:13 a.m. Monday morning, two 18-year-olds and a 53-year-old bystander were shot and wounded in Chicago Lawn, police said.

No one was in custody for any of the shootings, police said.
