Mexican Director Ulises Guzmán Screening Two Films at Comfort Station

LOGAN SQUARE — Logan Square's Comfort Station is set to host Mexican filmmaker Ulises Guzmán for two nights this week as he premieres a horror documentary.

The two-night program titled "Ulises Guzmán, Cine-Iconoclasta" will kick off Wednesday with the screening of the horror documentary Alucardos Retrato de un Vampiro.

Both Guzman and producer Harumy Delmira Villarreal will be in attendance during that screening.

The first night's screening will start at 8 p.m. at 2579 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Then on Friday Guzman will introduce his piece in the horror anthology México Bárbaro.

Friday's screening will begin at 8 p.m.

Both nights are free, but donations are welcome.
