Man Wearing Big Fake Beard Robs West Loop Bank

WEST LOOP — A bank in the heart of the West Loop was robbed by a man wearing a fake beard Monday afternoon.

Parkway Bank, located at 39 N. Morgan St. near Wishbone restaurant, was robbed at about 4 p.m. Monday, according to Garrett H. Croon, FBI spokesman. 

The suspect did not display a weapon. 

The suspect is described as a black man in his 60s with a thin build who was wearing a white fisherman's hat, dark sports coat, white button-down shirt, big fake beard and bug sunglasses. His hair color and eye color is unknown. 

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI’s Chicago office at 312-421-6700.
