Take a break from the season's hectic pace and settle in for a free outdoor screening of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Wednesday night in North Center's Town Square. Showtime is dusk, 4100 N. Damen Ave.
Bring a chair or blanket, and come hungry. Cookie Spin, aiming to open in North Center by the end of summer, will be serving up free samples of its unique "cookie pie" creations.
