DOWNTOWN — Roti is the newest restaurant moving in near Millennium Park, and it's bringing a bar.

The assembly line-style Mediterranean chain will open a new store at Mila tower, 200 N. Michigan Ave.

A common sight in the Loop, Roti offers fast, customized Mediterranean plates akin to a Chipotle or Subway. Its menu includes kabobs and falafel, but the new Michigan Avenue store will also serve craft beers from Goose Island, Half Acre, and Revolution breweries, as well as wine and house cocktails.

"We chose the Michigan & Lake location to build our downtown Chicago presence beyond the Loop," Carl Segal, Roti's CEO, said in a statement. "We know there are lots of Roti fans in the area, and we’re excited to bring our wholesome, fresh, and delicious Mediterranean goodness right to them."

An opening date has yet to be determined, but a large sign says Roti is opening "soon" inside the new tower at Michigan Avenue and Lake Street. A Starbucks opened in the building earlier this summer

The Chicago-based chain, which recently rebranded, opened its first boozy restaurant in the city last month in Ogilvie Transportation Center's MetraMarket as it eyes an aggressive national expansion. Roti also has non-boozy locations at 200 W. Randolph St., 10 S. Riverside Plaza, 310 W. Adams St., and 33 N. Dearborn St.
