BUCKTOWN — The 606's easternmost park, Walsh Park, will show "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" under the stars on Tuesday.

Scheduled for 8:15 to 10:30 p.m., the 2-hour and 15-minute long movie is part of the Chicago Park District's "Movies in the Park" summer series.

In "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the Star Wars team faces new threats determined to extinguish the long-dormant Jedi, leading a rebel pilot (Oscar Isaac), a defected Storm Trooper (John Boyega) and a young scavenger (Daisy Ridley) to reactivate the Force, according to a synopsis on the PG-13 rated flick on the Park District's website.

The movie is underwritten by the Bucktown Community Organization, a neighborhood group.

Walsh Park is located at 1722 N. Ashland Ave., on the eastern end of The 606, a 2.7-mile long network of parks connected by the elevated Bloomingdale Trail.
