CHICAGO — Two men were killed and nine people were wounded in shootings around the city between Monday morning and Tuesday morning, police said.

Jonathan Mills, a former star basketball star at North Lawndale College Prep High School, was gunned down on the West Side early Monday afternoon.

Hours later, a shooting in Park Manor left a 43-year-old man dead and a 22-year-old woman critically wounded.

• Most recently, around 11 p.m. Monday night, a 25-year-old man was shot in the 0-100 block of 118th Street in West Pullman, according to a police incident report.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center with two gunshot wounds in his left leg, police said. Police could not provide his condition but said he was "stable."

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.

Two people were shot in Englewood between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Monday night.

• At 9:55 p.m., two men were standing on the sidewalk in the 7900 block of South Vincennes Avenue in Auburn Gresham when a man shot at them, police said.

One man, 34, was shot in his left ankle, police said. The other man, 24, was shot in his right ankle.

Both men were taken to St. Bernard's Hospital, where they were listed in good condition, police said.

• At 9:50 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in his buttocks in Little Village.

• At 8:45 p.m., a 30-year-old woman was walking in the 4600 block of South Honore Street in Back of the Yards when she heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The woman was brought to Stroger Hospital, where she was "stable" after being shot in her back, Alfaro said.

• Around 7:30 p.m., a man in his 40s was shot in both his thighs in the 11300 block of South Corliss Avenue in Riverdale on the Southeast Side, Alfaro said.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition, police said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting
