CHICAGO — Shootings in Chicago have left 12 people wounded since Wednesday evening, police said.

• Most recently, at 1:10 a.m. Thursday, a 19-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7100 block of South King Drive when someone in a black SUV fired shots at him.

The man was hit in the left thigh and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center. He was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 12:40 a.m., a 29-year-old man walked into Community First Hospital after being shot in Belmont Cragin, police said. The man said he had been in the 5300 block of West Oakdale Avenue when he was shot in the hand.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 12:06 a.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in Englewood. He was critically wounded.

• At 11:41 p.m. Wednesday, two men were shot in Austin, police said. Officers were responding to a call of a person shot in the 1500 block of North Lorel Avenue when they found the men in the hallway of an apartment building.

One of the men, who is 31, was hit in the head. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The other man, who is 21, had been hit in his right calf. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The men were documented gang members, police said.

• At 10:52 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot and wounded in Kenwood.

• At 10:18 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. Officers stopped an SUV in the 4200 block of West 16th Street after the car was seen driving away from an area where shots had been fired.

Officers found the man with a gunshot wound in the right leg in the car. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9:45 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Chatham.

• At 9:30 p.m., a 67-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 11400 block of South Harvard Avenue when someone in a silver SUV fired shots.

The man was hit in the right shoulder. He was taken to Trinity Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9:19 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Ashburn, police said. The man was standing in the 7900 block of South Richmond Street when a man got out of a car and fired shots.

The victim was hit in the buttocks. He took himself to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 7:55 p.m., a 16-year-old boy and 19-year-old man were shot in Gage Park, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The two were standing on the street in the 5200 block of South Albany Avenue when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots.

The man was hit in the abdomen and the boy was hit in his right shoulder. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were not released but they were listed as "stable," Pacheco said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
