ROSELAND — A 14-year-old boy was shot in his buttocks in Roseland Monday night, police said.

At 10:38 p.m., the boy was standing on the sidewalk in the first block of West 112th Street when someone shot at him from a nearby gangway, according to a preliminary police incident report.

The boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, police said.

Police said they could not provide the boy's condition but said he was "stable."

No one is in custody, police said.
