ENGLEWOOD — The Englewood Police Youth Baseball League's first game of the season is Wednesday.

The games will be held at Hamilton Park, 513 W. 72nd St., from 3-7:30 p.m. The games start at 5:30 p.m. but there will be food and entertainment at 3 p.m.

The league, which consists of six teams and is coached by police officers, was first formed last May for boys and girls 9-12. Andrea NaTay, owner of Forever Fitness Chicago, canvassed the streets to spread the word and get kids registered. Sponsors include Teamwork Englewood, Get IN Chicago, and the Chicago Park District.
