WEST LOOP — Four cars were broken into in two blocks near the Chicago Police Education and Training Division building in the West Loop in two weeks.
In the incidents, unknown offenders broke into parked vehicles and removed items left in the vehicle, according to police. The burglaries were near Whitney Young Magnet Academy.
The burglaries occurred:
• in the 1300 block of West Jackson Boulevard sometime June 6
• in the 1400 block of West Van Buren Street between 7 a.m.-noon June 8
• in the 1200 block of West Jackson Boulevard between 5:30 a.m.-10:40 a.m. June 14
• in the 300 block of South Racine Avenue between 6 p.m.-8 a.m. June 19
