4 Killed, 25 Wounded In Shootings Since Saturday, Police Say

CHICAGO — Four people were killed and another 25 were wounded in shootings between Saturday and Sunday morning, police said.

• A man in his 20s was found shot to death in a car in Austin early Sunday morning.

• Another man was found dead in Grand Crossing less than an hour earlier.

• A 55-year-old man was killed in Garfield Park early Sunday, one of eight people shot in the neighborhood since midday Saturday.

• On Saturday evening, a 20-year-old man was fatally shot while washing his car in Gage Park.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Five people were shot, including a pregnant woman, between two shootings in Morgan Park.

Four men were shot in Englewood late Saturday and early Sunday.

• Most recently, around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, a 23-year-old man was hurt in a drive-by shooting in West Town.

• About 1:30 a.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in his leg in Pilsen.

• Around 11:10 p.m. Saturday night, a 25-year-old woman was walking in the 3400 block of West Ogden Avenue in North Lawndale when someone shot at her from a passing car, police said.

The woman was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center with a gunshot wound in her right leg, police said. Police could not provide her condition but said she was "stable."

• About 10 minutes earlier, two men were shot in Humboldt Park.

• At 9:45 p.m., a 39-year-old man was sitting on a porch in the 8600 block of South Marquette Avenue in South Chicago when two men emerged from a nearby gangway and shot him in his leg, police said.

The man was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was "stable," police said.

• Around 45 minutes earlier, a 39-year-old man was shot in his right arm in the 10600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.

The man brought himself to Roseland Hospital, where he was "stable," police said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.

• At 8:50 p.m., a 42-year-old man was hurt in what police said appeared to be a drug-related shooting in Edgewater.

• Around 11:25 a.m. Saturday morning, a 25-year-old man was shot in his left hand in the 5900 block of South Troy Street, police said.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.

No one is in custody for any of the shootings, police said.
