CHICAGO — A Humboldt Park shooting killed a 24-year-old man Friday night, police said.
At 9:03 p.m., police were responding to a call of a person shot in the 1000 block of North Harding Avenue when they found the man lying on the ground, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man had been shot in his back and his left shoulder. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition and was later pronounced dead, Estrada said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Brandon Nolls, of suburban Joliet.
No one was in custody.
