CHICAGO — Chicago pizza will make people do crazy things — like, say, leave the European Union.

Britain voted to leave the E.U. in a close, historic vote Thursday, almost immediately leading to controversy and change: Prime Minister David Cameron, who opposed the movement to leave the E.U., has said he will resign and the British pound's value has fallen dramatically.

Cameron resisted holding the referendum until he went to Chicago for the 2012 NATO Summit. There, speaking with his advisers in a pizza place at O'Hare Airport, he finally capitulated and agreed to hold the referendum, according to the Financial Times of London.

O'Hare has a few spots where you can grab a pizza — including Reggio's, Uno's and Stefani's — but none were able to immediately confirm if they'd served up the fateful #Brexit pie.
