CHICAGO — This weekend will start off warm but end with a Saturday night storm and a muggy Sunday.

Friday and will Saturday will be dry, and Friday will have lots of sunshine, said AccuWeather meteorologist Evan Duffey.

Friday will see a high of 80 degrees, but the rest of the weekend will be even warmer: Saturday will hit 88 degrees and Sunday should top out in the low 90s, Duffey said. That's warmer than the usual low 80s Chicago sees this time of year.

“Saturday should be quite nice all day long,” Duffey said.

Saturday's storm isn't expected to start until midnight, but it will last into Sunday morning and linger until 2 or 3 p.m., Duffey said.

The storm shouldn't be severe, though it may be accompanied by a gusty wind, Duffey said.

Sunday will be wet, hot and muggy with clouds, Duffey said.
