BOYSTOWN — If not done right, Pride can be exhausting.

Not only does the Pride Parade last for hours, but there's plenty of celebrating (and drinking) to do before and after Sunday's march.

It's important to fuel up, and data from Grubhub shows Chicagoans know how to take care of themselves.

When it comes to prepping for Pride, orders for Mexican food spike in the days leading up to the parade. Last year, Grubhub saw a 23 percent increase in orders for steak tacos, along with a 21 percent boost in guacamole orders.

Al pastor tacos were a popular choice, too, rising 16 percent.

Hydration, of course, is key: Delivery orders with water bottles also rose 12 percent during the 2015 Pride Parade and 17 percent the Monday after.

On Monday, it's all about nursing those hangovers. Grubhub customers might have tried to soak up the alcohol with burgers. Orders for the tried-and-true hangover cure jumped 23 percent last year.

Chinese food was also a go-to option, with orders for General Tso's chicken going up 15 percent and orange chicken 11 percent.
