Watch This Panda Dance To 'Panda' At CTA Red Line Stop (VIDEO)

THE LOOP — Chicago commuters got quite a show Wednesday at the Monroe stop.

Perren Delaney, a Chatham resident and student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, was leaving the gym at about 5:45 p.m. when he recorded a person in a Panda suit dancing to Desiigner's hit rap song "Panda" at the Downtown Red Line stop.

"When you get on the L you always see some [originally crazy stuff]," Delaney tweeted

The platform wasn't that busy then, but about three other people whipped out cameras to capture the street performer, he said.

"That's my favorite song right now," Delaney said.

"Panda" is the debut single from Desiigner, an MC from Brooklyn signed to Kanye West's record label. The song hit the top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart in April, and is sitting at No. 3.

The song is about dating girls in Atlanta, mixing codeine syrup into soft drinks, skimming credit cards and other activities. The "panda" is referencing a white BMW X6 that resembles the black-and-white bear in the eyes of Desiigner.

The performance is lively, but how does it compare to the original? See for yourself:
