UPTOWN — Uptown's newest seafood joint opened its doors June 1 as promised by an owner back in May.

Crazy Crab, at 4650 N. Clark St. celebrated its soft opening this week with daily specials that have included live lobster, dungeness crab and blue crab, according to its Facebook page.

Its Facebook page also shows off the decor and menu for the Cajun style seafood joint situated next door to Bella M'Briana, which opened last November.

"The locals in the area want more nearby restaurants so they don't have to go to Andersonville or Wrigley," said Nicholas Russo, manager of Bella M'Briana, 4656 N. Clark St.

The menu for the restaurant includes: fried jumbo shrimp, crazy wings, soft shell crab, fried calamari. It also includes live fish served at market price including: crawfish, lobster, dungeness crab, baby clams and blue crab.
