CHICAGO — The Montrose Blue Line station will be closed throughout the weekend.
The station will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday for construction as part of the Your New Blue initiative, according to a Chicago Transit Authority news release.
Riders will be able to take free shuttle buses between the Montrose and Irving Park stations during the closure.
Trains to O'Hare will begin going through the station on Monday, but trains headed to Forest Park will bypass the station, according to the CTA. Service will return to normal at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
