NORTH LAWNDALE — The famously aloof musician is playing hide and seek with us again.

After bailing on Riot Fest with a post on his fan site True To You May 23, Morrissey changed course and confirmed Friday that he will be playing the fest in September after all.

When the Riot Fest lineup was announced earlier this month, Morrissey was listed as a headliner. But soon after the musician took to his fan site to say he was "not a part" of Riot Fest 2016.

Riot Fest also issued a statement: "To clear any remaining confusion, Morrissey will be performing at Riot Fest & Carnival in Chicago."

So now we guess whatever issues he had have been resolved and he is all set to play Sept. 17 in Douglas Park.

Now all we can do is wait and see if another announcement comes our way.
