Is It The End For LOSER KEEPS BIEBER And Other Epic Electronic Billboards?

CHICAGO — The legendary Command Transportation parody electronic billboard appears to be quashed.

The billboard, which poked fun at Justin Bieber, Jay Cutler and a whole host of other targets, hasn't made fun of celebrities or sports teams for months. The sign off the Edens Expy., which has its own Twitter account, for a lengthy amount of time has simply read "Echo & Command Loves Truckers."

Justin Breen's ride into work is now filled with sadness.

That almost certainly has to do with Echo Global Logistics' acquisition of Command Transportation, a freight broker, for a reported $420 million. The sale was completed on June 1. The "Command Sign" Twitter account posted five new parody billboards after the sale, but its last one was tweeted Oct. 7.

An official at Command Transportation on Friday referred DNAinfo to Christopher Clemmensen, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Echo. Clemmensen did not return a voicemail left and email sent Friday.

If this is indeed the end of the parodies, we rounded up a list of notable billboards, including the epic knock against The Biebs.
