CHICAGO — You'll want to get outside on Friday if you're looking for weekend sunshine.

While some parts of Chicago will hit 80 degrees on Friday and the day will be partly sunny, the rest of the weekend will be chillier with clouds and rain, said AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines.

"Anybody that has outdoor plans for [Friday], you're looking good," Kines said.

Saturday should see a high of about 60 degrees, though a strong wind coming off Lake Michigan will mean the lakefront is in the 50s, Kines said. There could be a rain shower that lasts for about an hour at some point during the day, and there will be more clouds than sun throughout the day, Kines said.

Sunday will be warmer with temperatures solidly int he 60s and a breeze, but the day will be dry and there will be some sunshine, Kines said.

It's not a "stellar weekend coming up, but there have been worse weekends, as well," Kines said.
