LINCOLN PARK — Clover Playlot is the latest park in the neighborhood to get an overhaul.

The park, 2210 N. Southport Ave., is undergoing $135,000 in renovations through the Chicago Park District's Chicago Plays! program, according to Ald. Brian Hopkins' 2nd Ward office.

By fall, the park will be outfitted with all new bright green, yellow and blue playground equipment, according to a rendering of the final design.

Clover Playlot Park was established in 1958, when the city bought the land for park development. The park was last renovated in 1992, according to the park district. It was named after plants and trees in the area.
