OLD IRVING PARK — A bar bouncer was in critical condition after being struck in his head by a stray bullet at work Saturday night, police said.

Around 11:45 p.m., the man, 51, was inside Brudder's Bar & Grill, 3600 N. Pulaski Road, when someone fired a gun from the street and the bullet came through the window, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition, Estrada said.

No one is in custody, police said.

The shooting was the second violent incident in Irving Park this weekend. On Friday night, a 56-year-old man was found stabbed to death at Bart's Coins and Collectibles just three blocks from Brudder's.
