By Alex Nitkin | March 20, 2016 8:05am

LITTLE VILLAGE — A 36-year-old man was shot in his right leg in Little Village Saturday afternoon, police said.

Around 4:10 p.m., the man was walking in the 4100 block of West 25th Street when a man emerged from a gangway and shot at him, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, Sedevic said. Police could not provide the man's condition but called him "stable."

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
